Janelle Manzano is the Farm to School Program Specialist at San Diego Unified’s Food & Nutrition Services, the second-largest school district in California. Over the past six years, she has dedicated herself to promoting nutrition, health, food, and sustainability through educational initiatives and strategic promotion. With a Master’s in Public Health from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition from UC Davis, Janelle brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.

This session will explore aquaculture feed alternatives and cutting-edge innovations in alternative proteins for seafood, envisioning a future where sustainable plant-based and cell-based alternatives mitigate the pressures on our current food system.

Natalie Kra is a Sustainability Strategist whith 6 years of experience in the sustainability industry, spanning the non-profit, built environment, and consumer packaged goods sectors. Prior to joining the Resonance team, Natalie worked on the innovation team for a large consumer packaged goods company and helped to manage a non-profit dedicated to advancing circular packaging solutions.
