Centering Sustainable Food Systems: Making Sense of a Winding Career Path

Christina Ospina currently works as a Climate and Agriculture Specialist at the US Department of State, where she supports efforts to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions across global food systems.

Prior to this work, Christina worked at Resonance, an impact-focused consulting group, where she led projects related to sustainable food systems and corporate sustainability, and worked as a Policy Fellow to support the Good Food Institute's efforts to advance adoption and innovation for alternative proteins.

She graduated with a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment in 2020, where she focused on helping food companies improve their environmental footprint across a range of impact areas.

Previously, Christina worked in the energy sector and in women's reproductive health advocacy. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
