There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing a better world not as some distant possibility, but as something students are already creating together. Across campuses, students are organizing, experimenting, creating new career pathways, and transforming the food system in ways that are happening faster than we ever imagined.
Our team wanted to share some of the moments that brought us the most joy, hope, and renewed belief in what’s possible this past quarter.
Here’s a snapshot of what our community made possible:
65+ student-led events reaching 1,800+ students, with 32 new campuses joining the network.
Our first Spanish-language certificate launched, with 45 participants selected from 100+ applicants across 19 Mexican states and approximately 250 learners reached to date.
13 paid fellows began working to make their campus dining halls more plant-forward.
32 UC Berkeley students are advising nine companies through the Challenge Lab, including Berkeley Dining, a two-million-meal operation working toward 50% plant-based entrées by 2027.
Our Career & Mentorship Program launched its newest cohort, bringing together 15 students from 14 universities across the country.
