The last semester have been an incredibly energizing time at Plant Futures. For the last three years, we have been working together as a small team, but as our movement has scales globally, we’re excited to announce that we’re now ready to expand and grow our team of Plant Futurists!
If you’re a hard-working, entrepreneurial, and passionate plant enthusiast, we would love to hear from you. Specifically, we are hiring for two roles:
Community Content Creator
Start Date: Late July 2025 – December 15, 2025
Position Type: Part-time, remote (with optional on-campus fieldwork), independent contractor
Hours: ~10–15 hours/week (flexible)
Role Overview
This role is part strategist, part creator. You’ll guide content direction, dream up campaign ideas, and produce meaningful media that tells the story of Plant Futures from the inside out. You won’t manage posting or admin—that’s covered—but you will bring the vision and vibes that power our presence across platforms.

Video & Digital Editor

As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll work closely with our Community Content Creator and Communications Lead to turn raw footage into powerful digital narratives. From event coverage and speaker interviews to campaign videos and conference recaps, you’ll help shape how Plant Futures shows up visually across platforms.
